  1. enable multiple photo inputs

    Often I have the impression that 2 photos are not precise enough. Might several photos increase the precision?

    • Make it so you can use 2d pictures to make a 3d model

      have it use just one picture for the making of a 3d model from 2d pictures you draw or find online ok.

      • Acquisition 3D

        Je viens de tester la version de demo de Photosculpt3D. Mais, j'utilise un appareil photo 3D Fuji Finepix Real 3D W3. Je rencontre un problème pour ouvrir les 2 photos dans Photosculpt. Je suis obligé d'ouvrir les fichier MPO de l'appareil photo 3D dans un autre logiciel pour séparer la prise de vue gauche et droite. Ensuite je les superpose dans Photoshop pour recadrer la zone de recouvrement pour ensuite enregistrer les 2 images (gauche et droite) pour pouvoir enfin travailler dans Photosculpt.
        Serait il possible d'ouvrir directement les fichiers MPO de chez Fuji et des autres appareils 3D directement…

        • Be able to create 3D oblect from stereo pairs...stereo pair pics like the old stereo viewers used

          In the 1800s up to toys of the mid 50s, one would mount two image picture in a viewer and could view faux 3D,. The pics were taken by a two lens camera and printed the pic side by side in the same frame...

            • Creating depthmap from 2D Video (2D to 3D conversion)

              Feature to allow depth map creation from video. The video input is an image sequence in 2D. PhotoSculpt creates the depthmap output (2D to 3D conversion). The output should be side-by-side and also Full-HD, 2k, 4k depthmap only.

                  • I think the software would be more useful for me if I could use a front image along with a self created grey-scale depth map image. Cheers.

                    Creatying one's own depth map is a bit time consuming but improves 3d Quality enprmously.

                      Manually affixed stickers on the scanning object, lets the program know the rite orientation in the space.

                        particularly for game engines, it would be nice to have an option for seamlessly tiled square textures exported by photosculpt

                        • Manualy draw edges on image to help with detection of basic shapes like buildings

                          Photosculpt may be improved by helping the software to decide what is an edge

                            • Stereo Pair Zdepth Extraction from Video Image Sequence

                              Feature to allow import of stereo pair image sequences(from a video file) for exporting as a image sequence of 16 bit grey maps, the output of which can be used for more mainstream effects such as compositing and depth grading. If such a feature could be implemented, this would be a compositors best friend!

                              • enable "blur control" of depth map (very blurred at version 1.0)

                                depth maps need to be pretty blurred - but sometimes a "blur control tool" would help to better adjust depthmap for details

                                  This is now implemented in v1.03. This is actually very experimental as some blur is needed for the vision algorithm mathematical stability.
                                  You can play freely with this parameter now but it might now work as you wish. See my blog for a sample
